The pint pours almost black with a ruby edge when raised to the light. A thick brown head presents a coco aroma to the nose. The first sip imparts dark pitted fruits as the full bodied beer rounds off to a nice chocolate flavor. The rich coco flavor envelopes the pallet through the finish. This beer is best enjoyed in a room temperature glass.

Very nice addition to the local lineup. Have had it on nitro pour and without nitro; prefer without. Dark black brown mahogany pour, tight tan head, ample lacing. Deep sweet cocoa aroma, not unlike Cocoa Pebbles, chocolatey and inviting, light toasted malts, very little hops presence. Mouthfeel is a touch thin, but it is a porter after all. Cocoa flaover, nicely sweet then dark, toasted malts, a hint of java, dry finish. Very rewarding. Kudos to a Knoxville brewer making something a bit different.
