I really liked this! The dark brown coloring in the glass coupled with the thick head was a very nice. The aroma was not overly strong, but a nice blend of caramel and malt. Black Diamond's taste was smooth, with the caramel flavoring coming through. If you can find it please give it a try.

This is one of Saranac Limited release offerings. It is a really good looking beer. Pours a great amber copper that is so clear you can read throgh it. The most striking thing is how it catches the light. The head is full and off white with good lacing. The aroma and flavor are all malt with a sweet finish. While I found the beer very good I would not want to have more than one in a sitting.
