I guess you can judge a book by its cover.... Rice, malts, grains, very faint grassy hops. Mouthfeel is thin and slightly sticky, overall an average import lager, not much going on here.

This is utter garbage. The brewery tries to pass this off as a premium beer but it is far from it. A pale gold pour with a white head. The aroma is stale grass and old hops. The flavour is rather skunky and acidic.

A deep yellow colored beer with a tight bubbled, creamy textured, white head rising briefly above. The head is of moderate stature. Leaves a thin soapy ringlet atop the body and more robust film aside the glass. Light malt and grainy nose. Nice creaminess in a light bodied, well cabonated beer. The flavors ar light grass and grainy malts.

This beer was purchased soley for the pairing with sushi. It worked very well for that purpose given the flavors found in fish and roe. Outside of that, I wouldn't probably drink this beer. It is extremely dry and not especially flavorful or full in body - but for sushi is it great.

Pours a typical clear golden yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is quite strong and malty, not complex but still inviting. Flavor is strong and malty, enjoyable if not complex. This is a good accompaniment to a meal rather than a "stand alone" beer. Texture is quite tingly and fizzy.

It pours a light golden with thin white head and some lace. Aroma of barley malt, light hops, some lime, and mild spice. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of the malts, limes, light hops, some grassiness, and mild spice. Pretty good!

an above average macro lager...but in the end still a macro lager. a little more flavorful and hoppy in the aroma than Sapparo premium, but still weakish. malt leaning aroma and thin flavor.

Man, I have been sitting on this beer for a while and finally cracked it open today but I really don't have high expectations for this one but I still am going to give it a shot. The aroma is sweet and malty with some grainy overtones as well as some very faint metallic aromas and a strange sythetic smell also. The appearance is a medium to darker yellow but still pretty pale with a small head on top that quickly diminishes to a bubbly and light lacing that is white in appearance and leaves soapy lacing on the glass while it is consumed. The mouthfeel is light-bodied with not much in the way of complexity with some malty balance with a palate that is wet-like but not that good at all. The flavor is sweet and metallic with maltiness coming through with like a soapy to seltzer-like taste that is not very good at all with an aftertaste that is strange and peculiar, maybe a bit sour, with a finish that is wet-like and on the verge of being offensive. Overall, just pass this brew up, it is not worth it but I have had it for a while so it could be bad; I am not sure though, decent brew I guess.

01.11.05 Cooler 22oz can than the Premium: same shape but with golden grainy things on it. Slightly darker than pale yellow with no visible eff; monster white head is rocky and brainy as it fades to a decent film and laces in stucco patterns on the glass. Aroma is grassy and clean with clear grain notes and peppery hops. Yeasty. Full bodied for such a pale brew, the beer is sweet and lithe as it smoothly coats the palate. Mild malt flavors with a nice grassy hop character. This is worlds better than the ’premium draft’, and just as unexpected.

Sampled from can (and a cool one at that). Reserve pours a clear gold with a lsting, creamy white head and thick, intricate lacing. Aroma is mild and unassertive with just notes of malts. Flavor is balanced and clean with a faint floral hop addition. Full bodied for the style and carbonated lightly. A simple, refreshing all-malt lager.
