An American Amber Ale. Epicenter Amber received a Bronze Medal 2010, a Silver Medal 2011 at Reno Canfest, and an 89 Rating in 2011 DRAFT Magazine. A deep copper amber hue with a firm, toasted malt character, lightly sweet with a crisp dry finish. Epicenter has become a gateway ale for novice Craft Beer drinkers. The light, approachable taste is quenching and appealing to new and long term Craft lovers alike. Burgers and steaks are a natural pairing as well as rich nutty cheeses such as Asiago and Gouda.

Taps honey-copper with a thin parchment head. Aroma offers toasted malt, tropical, resiny hops and a hint of clove. Flavor provides crisp toasted malt, sweet tropical, resiny hops and clove notes. Texture yields firm, smooth body and peppy fizz. Find the epicenter.

Drawn far darker - more brown than copper - than I would have imagined. Virtually no head or lacing. Sweet and malty at the front with a crisp, lightly bitter finish.
