Genre : Triple.

330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Saint Monon chalice a cloudy copper-brown coloured ale with a one finger slight beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Mild carbonation. Somme lacing. The aroma is sweet malts, spicy, flowery and finally notes of honey. The flavour is sweety malts, yeast and a pronounced honey presence. The mouthfeel is quite thin. This medium bodied ale has a spicy and sweety finish. The afertaste is overwhelmed by a peppery sensation and the high alcohol level ( 8°C ) is well hidden. Not so attactive as expected.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, foamy mediumsized head. Aroma of skunky barnyard as well as cardboard and some sweet fruits. Quite dry, maybe a bit honey in flavour. Some frutis in the flavour too. Long dry grassy caramellish aftertaste. Alcohol is wellhidden in this one.

3 y.o. bottle - cloudy dark red-orange colour, fine creamy head, strong honey and spicy aroma, smooth and full-bodied, slightly oily, robust bitterness, long dry honeyish finish - a beauty !

Bottle. Hazy orange/yellow with a slim white head. Nice malty aroma, with caramel and honey. Taste is honey, some citrus, spices. Dry, moderate carbonation, nice full mouthfeel. A good strong ale.
