Passionate brewing for years, Peter Jacob (industrial engineer in food), decided in 1996 to do his job in itself. Concerned about the quality of our products, our young brewer uses both commodity grade (hops and malt ..) as well as local products (spring water, honey beekeepers ...) to achieve the alchemy which he alone has the secret. And if the idea to come strolling in a picturesque corner of the Porte des Ardennes "you take a tour of this small brewery can also be considered. It is best to contact us in advance ... So if you want to say, make a leap into the land of Saint-Monon and enjoy your brief stay in this beautiful area close to Rochefort, Marche, St. Hubert and La Roche .... The legend of Saint Monon: Around the year 600, a Scottish monk, named Nassogne Monon came to settle in as a hermit. To evangelize the people, the legend that St Monon, who was tending his flocks of pigs in the glades of Nassogne, discovered - thanks to the help of one of his pigs who dug the soil - a bell that the 'prompted him to call people to prayer ... Much appreciated by farmers in the region, after his death he became the patron of cattle. The Sunday after the Ascension takes place the pilgrimage known as "the riddling," in which the sarcophagus of St. Monon is transported to the Collegiate Chapel of St. Coumont.
