Sac brewing's best beer I've had. pours stout-black with thin head. aroma is just about a 9 - huge bitter hops, black malt, cocoa. feel is dry, and smooth. mediumfull bodied, toeing the line between an ipa and an imperial in every aspect. flavor is just great - dry, bitter, perfect use of the dark malts in this one. intensely roasted and intesely hoppy (110 ibus!) at the same time. Great beer. Only today did I see it's a collaberation with Auburn Aleshouse, who just happens to make two kick-ass IPAs.
