A dark hoppy beer without a traditional dark hoppy beer taste. Light roasted, chocolate malt transitions into a smooth finish with a hint of tangerine.

Pours a nearly pitch black with a 2 finger head that takes its time. You can still see some light through the glass. Well carbonated. Aroma is roasted with heavy IPA style hops. Taste is bitter and fruity with a dry hit. Finishes slightly dry and hoppy. Not bad.

Starts of pretty tame, but opens up quite nicely. Lighlty floral aroma, with a good dose of citrus and lightly roasted dark malts. The malts really open up nice in the flavor. A good beer to introduce someone to the style, as it still ends up pretty mellow without being boring. At $6-7 per bomber, though, priced as a premium brand.
