Pours a hazy dark amber with a two-finger head that takes its time. A lot fo carbonation in this one. For an IPA this one has an unusual aroma of raisons, chewy malts, spices and a slight hop hit. Has quite a strong scent of cookie dough as well. Taste is very sweet with hints of malts with a ever so slight metallic taste that doesn't get noticed later on. I could ddamn near chew this beer. Aftertaste is sticky with malts. Fairly decent brew.

A dark brownish red ale with a dark sandy tan head that was thick and left considerable lacing. Lots of carbonation, strong hops flavor, and a great deal of spice. Great flavor and a masterful balance of the complexity of it all.

Nice aroma on this fresh. The flavor is not quite up to par but is still pretty decent. Decent amounts caramel and sweetish malt to back up ample hops......found myself wishing for more aromatics and classic IPA hopiness. A touch too much yeast and malt for my taste.

More yellow/brown than red me thinks. Good head retention, lovely hop aroma. Grapefruit, somewhat bitter, medium bodied. Really standard but good west coast IPA. Something caramel or bitterish butterscotch. Price at the liquor store was about average for a 22 of micro brew. Will buy again probably.

From Firefly. Pours a creamy, enduring, ivory head over a body of hazy copper. Nose was floral, along with a nice balance of hops and malt. Flavour was hops and malt, with a bit of sweetness to finish. Smooth mouth.

Another Rogue at the LCBO, bring 'em on ! Pours a hazy deep caramel-amber colour with a big creamy beige head, great retention and nice lacing. A beautiful mild hoppy aroma comes out of this one with notes of orange zest. It is written that 9 ingredients are used, as Carastan, Chocolate, Rogue's barley malts, rebel hops, free range coastal water and Pacman yeast. Tastes like an American IPA with the piney grapefruit bitterness, but milder, with no so much bite as some others. I do not taste the Chocolate, but I assume that this is what tames down the bitter hop. An overall pretty interesting different India Pale Ale.

22oz bottle. Poured a reddish-brown with a 2 finger off-white cap - good lookin' beer anyway. Aroma you get citrus-earthy-pine hop tones over a sweet malt with some roasty notes...some nice complexity here in the aroma from malt and hop mixtures. Front side is dominated by malts - roasty, toasty, nutty some caramel....then the hops kick in to ad balance and some complexity....long wet clean finish that leaves a roasty-bitter taste. Very nicely constructed ale, lots going on here.. like a mix of an Irish ted with a northern brown ale and west coast hops thrown in the mix. Good Quaffer.

Has a very malty aroma with some citrus hops coming after a few sniffs. Poured a big tan head. Brown beer. Prickly mouthfeel, and a nice body for a beer of only 5.8%. Good lacing. A solid beer.

Growler from Bearden Beer Market: pour a clear amber with an ample white head and some thin lacing. Some carbonation. Very subdued aromas of floral and slight grapefruit and sweet orange hops with a large nose of sweet malts. Taste is very balanced and malt forward with a nice light caramel sweetness from the malts and a pleasant light floral and citrus hops bitter. More of a hoppy red than an IPA. Very good though.

When the label says deadliest, you know you have to try it - and try it I did. The store I bought these at said a portion of the funds go to help fishermen of the North Pacific, and if that's not a good cause, I don't know what is. The beer pours a deep hazy rust red colour with a light brown head. The head didn't last on the first bottle, but lasted quite some time on bottle two. The aroma was citrusy hops, butterscotch, and grainy malt. The flavour was more of the sweet malty butterscotch with a nice bitter citrusy finish.
