slightly sub par for the style. nothing bad, just kinda blah. finished midpack when i judged beers at a local brewfest. in the store, there will be better options. kind of a letdown for a pretty good microbrewery.

I used to drink this a great deal, 'til I sort of swung away from ambers in general. It was relatively easy to get in my area for a time, so I got tired of it. Recently tried it again while out in the mountains. Rollinz is right. This don't smell too good. Color's right, taste is average, but what have you accomplished if you have to hold your nose to drink the beer?

Clear amber color, not a good after taste if not served ice cold, some what repelling aroma (again if it gets warmed up). It does have a decent head and a good first impression. The best part about this beer is that it is made in Boulder Colorado (Been there many times and always had a blast, but this has absolutely nothing to do with the beer of course). I picked up a 6 pack of this for around $7.50. This is a budget beer for anyone that enjoys high quality beer. For those of you that drink to get sloshed, why not treat your friend to one of these "extravagant" beers to show how good of a friend you are. I don't care who you are or how you like your beer served, you need to drink this in a frosty mug to keep it cold.
