Our Mad Cow Milk Stout emerges from its slumber in Old Forrester and Jack Daniel's barrels bigger, bolder and madder. The sweetness of the base beer lends balance to the otherwise prominent barrel character, mellowing the harsh. A marriage of all things dark, sweet and woody.

Bottle from 2016. Pours a dark brown/black color with small mocha colored head the quickly disappears. Strong bourbon and charred oak aromas mingle with lactose and roasted malt. Tastes as it smells with the bourbon and oak leading the flavor parade augmented with roasted malt, lactose and hints of vanilla and caramel. Mouthfeel is full and pleasing. Good stuff.
