Pours a clear reddish copper color with a foamy light tan head that leaves some impressive lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, caramel and a touch of pine. Citrus dominates the initial taste with caramel showing up in the middle and end. Dry, bitter finish. Mouthfeel is full with some oiliness. Alcohol is well hidden, but is sneaky. A very good Imperial Red Ale.
