Has a rich, malty flavor. The blend of hops used nicely balances this beer. It pairs well with rich foods such as beef or pork

Another Texas ale from jerrymorrison. Pours a tea brown with a thin cream head and some lacing. A bit of cocoa along with slightly sweet malts, nuts and a bit of hops in the aromas. Taste is smooth and easy with that cocoa still in the palate with a malty, nutty flavor and a tad bit of hops in the end. Easy to drink brown - thanks Jerry.

This brew poured a deep brown with small white head. The aroma is roasted malt, some chocolate and mild toffee. The mouthfeel is medium. The flavor is roasted malts with full caramel flavor, additionally, the hops are mostly herbal and floral. Good balance. Overall a great representation of the style.

Tried it at the brewery. This is probably their best all year brew. Nice dark brown color. The flavor was mainly malty sweet and nutty with some toffee and carmel undertones. I would definitely buy this beer.

A decent brown ale with flavors of nuts, faint hints of fruit, and roasted malt. a little bitter but not bad. a little on the watery side, with a smooth finish. better than many other browns but not great

Pour was dark brown, some head and lacing. Funky aroma and flavor. Roastiness and nuttiness, some caramel and some flavor I can't put my finger on, but reminded me of canned mushrooms. Really unpleasant. I can't say I enjoyed this one.

This brown ale pours a deep brown color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, nuts and toffee. A medium to full bodied brown ale. Malts are roasty and nutty, slightly sweet with nice full caramel and toffee notes. There is also a touch of wood. Hops are herbal and floral. Nice brown ale, chocolaty and nutty roasty. Lively carbonation. Good balance. Tasty beer for a brown ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Poured a dark brown, reddish, mahogany color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toffee malts, wood, citrus fruits, and nuts. Taste of roasted malt, caramel, tropical fruits, and medium bitterness.

More of a brown porter in my estimation, than a brown ale, but whatever, it was still a nice brew. Coffee and toffee malt flavors with earthy and mildly spicy hops. Mild-esque mouthfeel with lower carbonation, but still too thin for style. Deep dark brown (darker than the bottom of the page) and eggshell head that gave out about halfway through the glass. Nice.

Dark brown with an OK head that fades quickly. Arome is nice and dark with a hint of citric hops. A bit like cocoa puff and grapefruit juice. The hops fall out in the flavor but it picks up a nice earthy malt. A bit chalky in the flavor.

pours the darkest of the dark browns..minimal head that leaves a everlasting tan head-ring..coats the mouth with a pleasing subtle biteerness, yum...like the dogfish head indian but smoother and not so overly ....there...?...a good brew even in the morning.
