I love this beer from the tap with a lemon slice in it. Great flavor, smooth. Without the lemon though, not so good.

Held this one back in the cellar for a while. Golden orange with just a ring around it. Attractive sweet lemon and hay aroma with just a hint of raisin and cinnamon (???). Flavor also has hay and grass on creamy wheat, maybe a bit of toast a little sweet. Any citrus that might have been here is gone. Refreshing, clean, just a little sticky, light & tingly carbonation (again, some was probably lost in storage). Not amazing, but a very serviceable drink.

An opague dirty-yellow colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head that rises ribustly above. Good retention on that head. It settles eventually into a thick film and ringlet. Light lemony nose. Yeast, wheat, lemon profile in the tasting. Light medium bodied and crisp.

pours a dense tangerine orange color with a thin, spongy, off white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma is a bit of funky tangerines and not much else. The taste consists of funky tangerines, wheat, mandarin orange with a bit of sour off flavor occurs. There is also a slight hint of musky banana yeastiness. The mouthfeel is not well carbonated, but has a medium body and a bit of a weird aftertaste.

It pours a hazy and thick light-amber and dark orange with a fairly thick white head and some copious lacing. An aroma of wheaty malts, light hops, light orange and citrus notes, bread and biscuits, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, fairly thick, and rich. Flavors of wheat malts, hops, orange and citrus, bread and biscuits, light bitterness and mild spiciness. Average for a hefeweizen..

Pours an opaque light golden, like fresh wild honey, with a nice fine-bubbled white head. Aroma is lemony, yeasty and slightly sweet. Yeasty flavor has lemony and honey undertones. Texture is fizzy and rough, and leaves the whole mouth tingling with a slightly bitter, slightly citrus and slightly sweet finish.

Sampled... if you call a 20 oz. a sampled... at the SeaTac Aiport Seattle Taproom on 12-30-09. A mild hefe that was undistinguishable from any number of other average hefes. Not bad... just not great.

This is an old faithful. When there is no other its this one. It is nice an has a good flavor. Very refreshing in the mouth. For some reason, I enjoy the yeast in the bottle and consider this the best part of this style. Quite robust aroma which makes this a good ole stand by.

Smells like white grape juice. Light, crisp mouthfeel. Another hefe-weizen in a bottle. I would try it again if I could. I remember it not being my cup of tea. But different strokes for different folks.

The best thing about this is the appearance, it is a nice cloudy orange-amber with brown tinge. The aroma is almost non existant, except a little wheat pokes through. Flavor is kinda bland also with a hint of wheat and a little yeast. Overall its rather underwhelming.

pretty much another average beer from Pyramid...the only positive that seperates it just a little is the heavier wheat taste than in many other heffes. I like to be able to taste the wheat.
