Pours a very cloudy light yellow with no head to think of. Pours fizzy like a soda. Lightly carbonated. Aroma is malty with a slight lemon/banana backing. Taste is fairly basic with hints of malts. A little lemon pucker but that is it. Uninteresting and bland.

Decent hefe with the requisite banana and clove aspects of the nose and flavor, but a little too thin and overly bubbly for my liking. Othewise ok, but that does away from the overall.

I had this beer at a farmhouse style resturant in Brooklyn, NY (right by the new Nets arena). The label said "Pinkus World's First Organic Brewery Hefe-weizen." I assume this is the same beer. In short, I personally did not enjoy this beer. It was tart and sour as opposed to citrusy and wheaty. I think this missed the mark of the style completely.

Not my favourite wheat beer. One of the cloudiest beers I have ever tried as well, pouring a cloudy yellow with a white head. Wheat malt and cloves dominate the aroma while the banana notes were more noticeable in the taste.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured a cloudy straw-yellow coloured Weizen with a pillowy three fingers white foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is wheat malts, sourish-aciditic fruits, grapefruit, citrus. The flavour is yeast, moderate wheat malts, aciditic fruits, citrus, grapefruit and some riped bananas. The mouthfeel is fizzy, prickly and quite watery. This light to medium bodied Weizen has a long aciditic fruits finish. Decent, but it lacks of stuff !

I don't know about this beer. Nice 1/2" head some lacing.Cloudy pale yellow pour. Almost no carbonation? Not like the boiling carbonation of some ales. A smooth pull out of the glass.Lemon hints. Barely any clove or banana. I don't see this as a Hefe. Light and refreshing. Different- will try again, give another chance. Oct 14 2010 opened the other bottle of Pinkus- a couple of sips , then the ultimate downgrade- drainpour. I just don't see this one in my fridge again. Bless you that like it, I just don't.

A fuzzy, muddy yellow colored beer. A moderate white, foamy textured head rises above. Some hang time settling into spotty film and decent cap atop the body. Sour, lemony nose. Some wheat there, I think. Moderate body. Smooth on the palate. Sweet grain, peppery, bread allcomnine in the flavors. Not bad.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy orangeish golden colour with mediumsized white big head that leaves lace. Aroma is is wheat, some spices, yeast and mild notes of banana and wood as well. Flavour is rather much the same. Quite refreshing.

Sampled on 4/18/2009. This hefe weizen pours a slightly cloudy yellow gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with nice retention and good lacing. The aroma is some malt, but mostly banana and bubblegum. A light bodied hefe-weizen. The malts are cereal, fruity and sweet. Some banana and clove flavors but not over powering. There is more cereal and grain in this one. There is some of that classic banana and clove flavor and yeastiness to this one, but not as much as in the aroma. Lively carbonation. It is also a touch watery. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
