Uh, we forget...Oh Yeah, this is a big beer. Mind blowing amounts of hops give this beer tons of flavour and aroma. Not for the faint of heart. The bigger, meaner cousin to the Hop Circle IPA.

Looks good. Enjoyed very much. Aroma is way sweeter than the flavour. Very hoppy, citrus flavour with a touch of malt for a hint of sweetness. Teeter totter drink. One day you like, maybe not the next time.

Pours a nice thick frothy off-white head and has a clear, light amber appearance. Leaves some pretty thick lacing. Aromas of citrus and floral hops. Oranges and grassy notes. Flavours of strong citrus hops, oranges, bready malts in the mix. Some hints of caramel and toffee. Fairly sweet as well as bitter. Crisp bitterness on the palate. Quite an astringent mouthfeel. Great retention. Pretty good and easy to drink for a DIPA.

Third one from this brewery. Pours a clean amber colour with a creamy warm cap that has great retention and loads of lacing. Sweet fruity nose with grapefruit, mild grass and other citrus. Well blended fruits in the taste with nothing really standing out more than other. Not too crazy bitterness and dryness. Goes down quite well because of this, as alcohol is well-hidden and seems more like a stronger IPA (then average), than a full Imperial one.

The beer pours a slightly clouded golden-hued copper with a generous light tan head. The aroma is pine, citrus, grains, and dishsoap. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is spices, grapefruit, and caramel hints. Pretty good, but not great. -

Looks like a beer, clear amber small cap. Big smell, bubble gum, citrus, almost pine...... strong but dull does that make any sence. I hate speeling correctly. Taste also dull but full. Soap, thick, resin, flavourless bitter.............. very drinkable but way below average

A pretty typical IPA, despite the DIPA marketing. The formula of 50% more malt and 100% more hops seems completely facinating and awesome, rather than gaining stonger aroma and flavour it seems to just be a meatier version of your average IPA. Dog Fish heads 90 minute IPA give more flavour and aroma for less dollar and doesnt feel like a meal. The hops in this beer are quite sweet and resin like, hints of pine. Aftertaste lingers for ages, like a islay scotch. Medium carbonation. Enjoyable. Personally not a favorite but if you like a beer that comes across like an extremely tannic red wine this is for you.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, after all, DIPAs aren't a Canadian phenomenon. So, with no expectations, I got a great flavourful beer that looked, tasted great, and was satisfying. The hoppy aroma was certainly an inviting factor in this brew. The fact that it carries on to bthe taste is just as great.

Bottle: Poured a deep dirty amber and hazy ale with a nice foamy head with some great retention and some good lacing. Aroma of bitter hops is dominating with some subtle notes of resin hops. Taste is also dominated by some bitter hops with some light resin notes. Malt presence is a bit weak for the style and some citrus notes would have been appreciated. Interesting and probably one the first bottled IIPA coming from Canada but slightly below average for the style.

650ml bomber Poured a hazey honey colored ale in the glass with a decent 2 finger sticky cap... good retention and great lacing qualities. Aroma: half way to a Pacific NW IPA; some citrus from cascades but also some musty grassy cedar tones from fuggles, and other Brit varieties...all with a big caramel-toffee malt undertone. Profile: Big chew on juicy citrus rind hops and toffee malts in the front side....mid palate some woody-earth notes, cedar, walnut skins, toast...finish throws the balance off to slightly favor the hops but it is subtle enough and the malts are thick enough it is not a problem. Covers the alcohol completely...a big malty-hoppy IPA..very flavourful, satisfying and drinkable..well done

Poured with good head, quite bubbly. A dark, copper shade in appearence. Lots of fresh metallic/piney hops - great aroma. A strong bitter aftertaste, your mouth becomes coated in piney hops. Enough malt to keep the hops under control. A little too suddy I find it. A mouthfeel of crispy bitterness but with a nice finish. Not as "fresh" as some other DIPA's but drinks far more easily. I can't say I'm really crazy about this one, but I really have no reason not to be.
