Petrus Aged Red

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 8.5%. Dark red colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of cherries, cherry kernels, marzipan, oak and fruit vinegar. Medium sour flavour with the same elements as the aroma.

Light opaque red, small off-white foam head. Sour cherries aroma and taste. Sparkling and fresh, nice beer to drink. Sourish aftertaste. (Velp 201504)

A reddish tinged brown colored beer with s big frothy textured tan head rising robustly above. There's good hang time on the head. The lacing left is impressive. Strong cherry presence on both the nose and palate. Nice blending of sweet and tart. Full bodied and so enjoyable.

Bit surprised by the awesome rather assertive cherryrifficness of this beer. Kinda like you blended a world class Belgian Red with the so so Petrus Brown. Looks nice, smells like a burst of cherries with light funk and cola underneath. A little more of the cherry cols in the flavor with some tartness and a nice finish. A little on the sweet side, but not to a fault. Good stuff. 4 packs or 750.

This poured a brown color with a reddish hue. The flavor contains some cherries and vinegar notes. The flavor is slightly sour but nothing like the regular Petrus. Some cherries and malty notes with dark fruit are present. Overall this was a pretty good beer.
