Hop Noir is a delectable Black IPA, dripping with piney, aromatic Centennial hops. The malt base is dark and rich, anchored by organic black malt. This provides a strong foundation for the extravagant kettle hopping and dry-hopping that this beer experiences. Enjoy with a night-light.

Matched flavor against cost, this one is a value beyond compare. A brownish black colored beer with a big creamy textured, light brown head rising robustly above. There's great hang time. And a thick ringlet is eventually left behind. The nose and to a much bolder extent the tasting is a nice balance of piney hops and bittering chocolate-roasted malt. Medim to full bodied. There a slickness on the tingue. Very well done.

Aroma is decently hoppy with floral and fruity hints, not strong but still pleasing. It pours a dark muddy brown that is opaque save at the edges, and the pale tan head is thick, frothy and persistent. Flavor is quite hoppy and somewhat bitter, and has grassy, woody and nutty hints, plus a fair but not fierce alcohol nip. Texture is smooth and fizzy, leaving a tingly and woody finish.
