Paulaner Premium Pils is brewed in strict accordance with the traditional Pilsen brewing method using hops from Hallertau. Its light colour and stiff foam distinguish it from other beers. By the way: although Pils originally comes from Bohemia, it was first produced by a Bavarian brewer. Although Pils has always been a firm favourite in Bavaria, the rest of Germany is today no less appreciative of its fine, dry flavour.

Comes out of the tap a pretty clear golden yellow with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled white head. Crisp, malty aroma has an overtone of apple, rather like a nice dry cider. Malty flavor is crisp, like a pils ought to be, with more than a hint of apple, just slightly sweet.. Texture has average body and fizz. A refreshing one. Happy Oktoberfest!

Pours pale straw yellow with a generous off-white head that shows good retention. The aroma is a bit sulfuric after the pour, then the aroma turns grassy and bready with a bit of corn-like sweetness coming through. The taste is grassy hops dominate the palate with a subdued bitterness and bready malts create a solid backbone. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a smooth, clean finish.

a little surprised to 300+ pilsners ahead of this one...not that it's anything special, but i liked it more than several far above it in the rankings. crisp and clean aroma and flavor, with a hint of fruity sweetness on top of the usual suspects that make it a little nicer. pretty tame, but not bad.

Overall average beer. It is not unlike any german typical pils. Slight hop flavor, refreshing mouthfeel, smooth, decent head, gold to pale color. Would not buy it in the states again as it is expensive compared to some of the domestic beer we have here.

500ml bottle -
Aroma - light corn, subtle citrus notes...grains seem to be in the forefront.
Appearance - clear golden body, 1/2" white thin head, little retention
Taste - seemed like a sour malt mash if that makes sense...seemed like it had a minor sourish quality to it...rather dry, malts seem really thin and not much in terms of hops.
Overall - I couldn’t help but wonder how much better this beer would be on tap in Munich. Easy to drink, but I would imagine it being a full point better at the source. -

Well-balanced hops and malt. Slightly citrusy and aromatic. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Laces well. Refreshing without being overly heavy. Just the right amount of carbonation.

I started this one off chilled and found it got better as it warmed. A bright yellow colored beer. With a moderate sized frothy white head. Some hang time. Not overly impressive. Some light lacing. Chille, there’s a metallic nose and tasting. Warmed the body becomes fuller, crisper and more bubblier. The tastes, warmed are malt and floral hoppiness. The style is not one of my favorites, but this one was okay.

Paulaner Premium Pils 2.3 cheapdark Pale yellow but does have some sediment on the bottom for a swirl in your glass.Taste is typical sharp bitter pils. Decent aroma laced with some of that cooked veggie olfactory. Continuos sharp bitter pils bite. Some tingly carbonation. Lingering, rubbery lasting finish.

Bottle. Golden colored and poured with a thick fluffy white head that slowly tapers away leaving nice amounts of lacing. Aroma is mostly grassy with a touch of fruity hops. It starts with a hint of bready malts then onto a suprisingly nice gradual bitter, dry hoppiness. Very clean and refreshing. Simple but good.
