500 ml on tap at the brewery, 4.30$ on the table, 1.60$ the swing-top bottle. Poured in the original Papiermühle seidla an almost opaque and dark-dark-brown with reddish tones coloured Bock with a two fingers tan foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Georgous lacing. The aroma is strong roasted malts, burnt notes, dark chocolate and dark fruits, raisins. The flavour is roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate, notes of smoke, obviously dried fruits, walnuts and a spicy touch, licorice. The mouthfeel is fulled, quite thick and very smooth. This medium bodied Bock has a dry heavy malty finish. This Bock, brewed in the historical well-known "soccer city " of Jena, could easily play in a German-Bock-Bundesliga ! I enjoyed it.
