It's unfortunate that 2 is the lowest choice available, otherwise I would have given straight 1's to Milwaukee's Best, and four 1's and a 2 to this swill. This brew was the laughingstock at my graduate school department. I avoided it as long as I could but alas, I did eventually try it. It was rank right out of the bottle, and thankfully it had a more yellowish tinge than Milwaukee's Best..........and that's a very minor thankfully.

A more experienced beer reviewer’s review! The beer pours a translucent straw gold colour with a huge fluffy white head that lingers as rocky islands for several minutes. The aroma is stale grains, herbal hops, and vomit. This beer does not smell good. The mouthfeel is thin and carbonation is average. The taste is just as bad as the aroma. Thirty minutes after finishing this…..it is still ravaging my tongue! My score has been adjusted slightly! (1.0 -> 1.3)

At last - the legendary PBR is mine! 355 ml Export version, 4.5% ABV, from Superbrugsen, Ans, Denmark. Pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Sweetish candy aroma, some grassy notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour? What flavour? Tastes mainly like carbonated water, just a hint of sweetness reveals that it is not. Papery and "empty" finish. Gets one point for not having any offensive "side flavours".

Years ago, I said I will drink a PBR when the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. So here I am drinking a beer I once swore I would never touch. And it’s not half bad. Pours clear straw yellow with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled, if not persistent, ivory head. Aroma presents typical crisp lager malt. Flavor is typical of a lager, malty woth a bit of pear. Mouthfeel offers average body and fizz. Hey, it’s actually palatable - but can’t wait to return to craft brews. Congratulations Cubbies!

This is a consistent beer in the fact it's cheap and it taste that way. It's aroma is rank but at least it's yellow water. It's sour and bitter and taste like a beer that was poured over ice and then the ice melted.

This beer got me through college so even though it's swill I'm giving it a 10 overall because I'm still alive and even DUI free. (I also managed to not wake up next to anything I regretted)

What can I say this is swill but i can say that for what it is it is one of my choices if I am to drink this type. What can I say, it is a light beer with very little flavor but it does taste like straight up college beer.

PBR - wow. I can't believe I only recently re-tried this. Typical pale yellow pour with some head and minimal lacing. Wet wheat, stale bread, thin taste and smell. Popular swill that is "hip" to drink. Not my favorite swill.

Been a LOOONG time since I had this, so honestly don't remember the flavor that well, but comparing it to the other swill I used to drink, it's wasn't super-horrible (for the price). Don't think it's THAT bad if people still drink it. Very skunky and cornish. Has a little bit of taste though, I think.

It's been a while since I've had this and when I did it was usually to drink about 20 beers and get good and drunk. Not something I would want to sit and enjoy.
