Poured a golden yellow with strong dense white head that had great retention and lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet, grassy, spicy and clean. Flavor starts with some refreshing sweetness, grainy malt followed by a beautiful hoppy bitterness. Spicy, grassy, lemony citrus, and very floral. This is the best beer I've had from the Otter Creek line so far, and I was just about to give up on them too.

Poured light golden brown with nice head and lacing. Most notable is that this is probably the hoppiest lager ever. I'd say it's unbalanced, but I guess that's a matter of opinion. If you're a hophead going for a lager with some bite, this might be for you. I wish I could have tasted the malty/fruity/toffee tastes others have mentioned.

Another lager. Drinkable but I wouldn't pick this over others out there. More malty than hoppy but the flavor isn't that strong. By the end of the bottle, I couldn't taste it that well. Of course, that's better than the American junk macros that have no flavor even in the first sip.

Nice appearance for this lager golden yellow with a small but persistant pure white head..nice lacing. I loved the aroma of this lager..one of the best of its class..nice spicy hoppiness..more than balanced by a a yummy toffee malt aroma..beautiful . this is a full flavoured malty style lager..no pilsner here..and i love it the full sweetness of the malt is replaced eventually by a nice residual hop bitterness. Very nice creamy smooth feeling on the tongue.

I remember a recent RB poll asking if you knew a beer sucked, would you drink it anyway, just to rate it. Thats the thought that went through my mind as I opened this puppy up. Looks like budweiser, smells like dough. Head settled a bit too quick for my liking. Can ya tell I’m stalling till this warms up a bit? Not bad as lagers go but this isn’t far off from the Big 3 either. Otter Creek ought to be ashamed of themselves. Thats all I’ve got to say about this stuff.

Bottled 14 June, batch #1552. Light orange color is the most pleasing aspect of this lager. Highly effervescent body forms a head of large bubbles which dissipate in seconds. Aroma is yeasty and slightly stale. Flavor is balanced, but adversely impacted by the off-aroma. Mouthfeel is fizzy at first, flat by mid-glass. If I weren't so pleased with Otter Creek, I wouldn't try this beer again. Maybe I just got a bad bottle.

Pours with a pale yellow body topped by a white lasting head with good lacing. Woody hop aroma well balanced with malt. Woody hop flavor wtih malty accents and notes of sweet fruitiness. Light bodied and smooth. This is a good lager that I would enjoy having on a hot summer day.
