JESTER HOP is a British hybrid hop meant to combine the best of both the New and the Old World. Overall it is considered mellow in both its flavor/aroma and bittering, with aromas and flavours of grapefruit, and blackcurrant. Whispers of peach/mango/berry and lychee. Expect some malty, earthy, musty, herbal elements to make an appearance, complements of the British side of its parentage and terroir.

Slightly hazed, golden-amber colour with a big creamy head, good retention and creamy lacing left. Perfumy aromas with some notes of dark, green grassiness in the background and even getting hints of chocolate, cacao. Decent bitterness with some fine dryness in the finish. Herbal, grassy, all fairly mild, with wooden notes. An interesting hop, worth checking out.
