Chestnut red pour. Well balanced between sweet malt, as little nutiness, and a decent dose of hops. The aroma stands out a little, whereas the flavor (due to a watery finish) falls just a little short. Not bad, though...

Tasted on tap at the 8th Annual Triple Rock Firkin Fest on 4/9/2011. This amber ale pours a very cloudy dark brown color form the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied amber ale . The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and floral. This beer is a blend of the blond ale and the amber, so it’s kind of caramely, fruity and sweet. Nice blend of the two styles, but not a fav. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
