Hop House pays homage to the historic hop farm that stood on the brewery grounds over 100 years ago. Hop House combines the delicious aromas and flavors of a Belgian-style ale with generous hopping, including dry-hopping. A well-balanced, yet ample, hop character defines this fine pale ale, bringing Belgian-style beer lovers and hop-heads together to enjoy our Belgian-American love child. Bright yellow-amber hue, topped with a lush white pillowy head. Abundant tropical and citrus hop aromas with subtle floral notes and a light biscuit presence. Fruity and citrus flavors are balanced out with delicate malt notes. Smooth and effervescent, Hop House provides moderate bitterness with a drying, hop forward finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear straw gold with a monstrous creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is straw with some earthy yeast and a little spice.

The flavor is straw and doughy malts with stale grassy hops and a touch of fruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, the first sips were just stale hops and earthy notes, but as I finished the bottle more sweet fruity notes came out that were nice.

Pours a hazy amber colour with a large sudsy head. Leaves blotchy lacing. Belgium yeast lemon and metallic aroma. Flavour of Belgium yeast, pine, grass and soap. Well carbonated with a medium mouthfeel.

More Belgian pale ale than American. Good balance of yeasty zest and bitter piney earthy hops. I'm pretty excited when Ommegang puts out a newb and this is no exception. Feel is nice for the style. Well carbonated with a nice bite. I'll get again.

Pours a hazy, barely translucent amber with a thick, pale buff head. Strongly hoppy aroma has a fruity undertone that is more pomme than citrus. Hoppy flavor is more resiny than woody and has a fruit, sour undertone. Firm, fizzy, creamy mouthfeel rounds out a first-class IPA.

A bright orange-amber colored beer. A three fingered off white, sudsy textured head rises above. There's some hang time on the head. It settles eventually into a nice ringlet. A muted nose. A grassy hopped tasting. Easy to drink, this effervescent beer.
