“A milder stout with flavours of chocolate, coffee, liquorice and a fruity aroma” Silver Top is a cream stout with an easy drinking taste. It is brewed using our unique combination of Maris Otter, Crystal and roasted malts, with Challenger and Bramling Cross hops. The result is a stout that has a rich smell of Autumn fruits and a smooth taste.A sweet toffee body carries nots of liquorice balanced by the bitterness of plain chocolate and a hint of coffee. Cask & Bottle Conditioned – Alc 4.5% Vol “…a beer to ruminate over.”

Black, quite opaque. Tastes a bit burnt, black patent. Light bodied, quick drinking like water, no finish. Not smooth, quick. Great burnt toast and bitter but not tart coffee. Bitter but not tart describes this well. Nothing terribly lactic but stoked anyways! Decent brew
