Pours clear straw yellow with a thick eggshell head. Weak aroma offers up a little malt and a bit of pear. Flavor is better, though, malty and fruity and a little sweet. Mouthfeel features average body and OK fizz. Not great, but palatable.

Bottled (2nd CS/ES Beer Gathering, thanks IP!). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mildmaize and some grains as well. Flavour is malts, grains, grass and some mild citrusy notes. Refreshing.

12oz bottle (shrink-wrapped 6-pack)
Pretty enjoyable actually. Couldn’t pick-up any skunk notes, aroma was some light hay and cereal with just a light touch of sweetness. Flavor was also lightly sweet, cereal-like flavor, kinda bready with a nice grassy finish. Had a few of them while watching the Kings lose to the Lakers in pre-season. -

cereal taste...bubbles, malt and cheerios. that's about it...a little on the nose too. the beer, ironically, pretty much lives up to (almost) it's name. one time thing for me.

This beer poured a clear golden color with a tall frothy white head. It had a very grainy aroma along with an extremely bland flavor looaded with corn and other adjuncts. Very boring.

pours a clear golden colour with a large frothy white head, somewhat grainy in taste, but full well carbonated mouthfeel. nice strong hop flavor.

Hmmmm, this was OK. Very pale, light color with almost no head. No skunk. Not much body, but the flavor was slightly sweet. This wouldn't be an everyday drinker, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Neat bottle with a hump in its neck. Poured with plenty of head, lots of carbonation. The appearence is the EXACT stereotype image of beer. Filled the room with a bad, corn starchy smell. Taste is not much better. Some nice typical Polish lager in the backbone but you gotta look for it - the other 80% is swill. "OK" might be an exageration but does sum up pretty much my thought.
As a side note...
*The bottle, which I bought in Poland the town over from the brewery, said "Imported From Chicago"... ok?
*The label also boasted this as a 'full, light beer'. The percentage it listed was 5.7... ok? -

same overall taste and mouthfeel as the strong version, but with less alcohol obviously. i would put this second after lesjazk but before zyviewc. still i'd stick with the strong okocim. evrey place i've been that carries the one also carries the other.
