A little sneaky by the brewery to reinvent the label on this one. Pours a nice, honey color with a quickly dissipating head but the lacing is still there. The aroma was a little difficult to pinpoint. Has a really smooth taste with a little bit of hops on the finish. This should be a staple, really. Can't beat it for the price.

Pours a very dark, copper red with a creamy head, sweet aroma with some hints of nuts and berries. A little heavy mouth feel, somewhat malty with a smooth finish. I enjoyed this, but a little heavy on the alcohol for me.

This is my favorite Hef. It pours a nice, dark golden color with a light head. It has a sweet aroma of lemon and wheat with a nice full-bodied mouth feel. Great with lemon. Maybe I haven't had too many other Hefs but this is definitely my favorite thus far.

I don't know why I give Pyramid Brewery such good reviews. I really don't find their beers at the top of any of the categories. However, the Hef is my favorite of their beers. It pours a light, cloudy, gold. It has a nice flavor but have found the lemon wedge really enhances the flavor. I am a Widmer Brothers Hef guy through and through.

Poured a nice, dark brown with a frothy head and good lacing. A full-bodied mouth feel and a nice, sweet aroma of the outdoors; maybe it's because its from Montana, I don't know. The taste is sweet and creamy and leaves little room for criticism.
