An extremely hoppy beer! Flowers and pellets in all stages of the process. A strong beer with extreme hop aroma and flavor with a nice rich malt backing. If you look closely, you may even see a green tinge in the head.

09.29.05 First beer of GABF, I ran down a busload of ne-erdowells trying to get to the Oggi’s booth. Slackers. Dark, thick, and sticky. Caramelized pineapple, resinous, cocoa, sweet. Super tacky lasts beyond finish. Money.

Holy crap. Dark ruby body with a huge tan head. The aroma brings tears to my eyes, as much from the beauty of it as the fact the hops actually sting my sinuses. Beautiful aroma full of grapefruit and gardenias. They should make an air freshener out of this beer. The flavor is a lot milder than the aroma with the malt actually making an appearance. Nice caramel body, but low sweetness. Very little bitterness. Great beer.

On draft at Oggi's Vista, CA Murky brown pour with a nice head. Great smooth mouthfeel with a complex hoppy flavor, with malty notes. THis is one brew you could sit and sip by the fireplace.

Dark to medium amber color. Small white foamy head. Aroma is floral hops and a touch of malts. A medium to full-bodied Imperial IPA. Malts are fruity and fairly sweet. Hops are grapefruity and piney. Nice hop signature. Nicely balanced by a fairly substantial malt backbone. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. NICE beer.

This brew pours with a deep reddish-brown body topped by a medium thick head with great lacing. This beer has an amazing aroma, it’s sweet and grapefruity with wonderful tropical fruit notes and a great maltiness. The flavor is a little more fruity and malty with less hoppy notes, but a nice bitterness in the finish. Full bodied, warming, smooth and a touch dry.

GABF2004... Poured a dark crimson with a small off white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of oranges, pear, watermelon and other tropical fruits. Very nicely bitter grapefruit, very light malt. Over the tio hoppiness.
