Nice choice on a hot summer day. This brew is very balanced. Just the right hoppiness to acompnay the nice golden color you'd expect by the style. Great smooth mouthfeel. Just about every brew from this brewery is a winner!

Pours a golden amber with a 3 finger had that disappears quickly. Aroma is more reminiscent of an Ipa, very bitter to the nose. taste is slightly bitter to the tongue with hints of malts and sweetness. Lightly bodied brew that taste stronger than a normal Pale Ale. Finishes off non existent. I like it.

Pours a luscious clear amber with a fairly thick, if not too persistent, ivory head. Malty aroma has a strong hoppy overtone, more like an IPA than a regular pale ale. Firm flavor is both malty and hoppy, leaning a little towards hoppy, and quite refreshing - as I drink this, it is BROILING here in Atlanta! Smooth texture has good fizz and good body, and leaves a hoppy, woody finish. A pale ale that could just about pass as an IPA.

Very well balanced pale ale with pleasantly intense floral/citrus character in the nose and on the pallette - could have easily enjoyed a pint or two of this had I not already imbided a few others. Moderately carbonated, medium bodied with just the "right" stuff.

Copper orange pour with a nice white head. Smell is floral and citrusy. Flavor has a mild sweetness and finishes nice and hoppy with a little bitterness at the end. A nice pale ale.

It pours a bright burnt-orange with a fairly thick white and light-orange head and copious lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, pine, grapefruit and pineapple, bread and spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth ... somewhat thin. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, orange and light grapefruit, bread and yeast, bitterness, and light spices. Good~!

Sampled on 9/10/2010. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, grapefruity hops. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, lots or orange and citrus flavors. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nice carbonation, lively but kind of soft. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is a full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Superthick foamy head, amber body, not much lace. Aroma of floral hops and some grass. Flavor had some faint hop hints and not much else, kinda on the watery side.

A colleague got this brew for me out in Colorado. Aroma is hoppy with some bitterness as well as faint grapefruit and maybe some slight pine with some hop oil and floral overtones. Apearance is a orange-copper when held to the light with a full head on top that is fuzzy and off-white in color and remains leaving light lacing on the glass. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and easy-drinking with some quality balance and complexity with a palate that is wet-like and refreshing. Flavor is crsip and sharp with some malty sweetness as well as strong hop bite and sensual amounts of bitterness but not excessive with an aftertaste that is smooth and tasty with some slight pine and a finish that is hoppy bitter but unassertive. Overall, great beer and has good flavor and nice balance; a good everyday beer for the pale ale or IPA drinker for sure, recommended.
