A beer for Ontario's best and most challenging XC mountain biking trails. This Xtra Pale Ale has as much flavour as the trail. A light golden colour with a thick white head this beer has a lot of citrus aromas with light pine. There is an earthy malt sweetness along with lingering lemon and tangerine citrus which keeps this beer refreshing and sessionable with a semi-dry finish. The beer at the end of a long trail doesn't have to be as challenging as the trail but, it should be just as rewarding. FOOD PAIRINGS Chicken, seafood, nachos, light to sharp cheeses. INGREDIENTS Malts: - 2-row Pale Ale - Caramel 20L Hops: - Magnum - Cascade - Nelson Sauvin O.G.: 11.3°P F.G.: 2.7P IBU: 22 SRM: 5.1 ABV: 4.6% Yeast: Ale

On tap @ Bent Elbow – taps a pale hazy gold with a 1 finger tight white cap. Modest carbonation. Aroma is sharp-fruity, citrus light sweetness. Peppery mouth feel with a smooth finish. Flavor is sturdy pale malt spine balanced with citrus-pine hops as this goes to the finish it gets a bit bitter with a hop tone like white grape skins (Nelson Sauvins?) …nice hop bite at the conclusion. A boiler plate craft pale – drinkable, sessionable.
