Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a thick, pale golden tan head. Aroma is decidedly hoppy with a fruity undertone. Hoppy flavor has yeasty and malty notes and a sort of varnishy hint. Smooth texture has average body but good fizz. An acme? Maybe not, but tasty.

Pours a nice pale orange color, with a light off-white colored, frothy medium sized head. The aroma had some tinges of citrus fruits, biscuit malts, and some slight caramel. The taste was again of light citrus fruits, some breadiness and a fairly mild bitterness. Finishes clean. The feel was somewhere in between light and medium, with medium carbonation and overall average on the palate.

this was a great IPA, ranking it with my top five IPA's . And im a big two-hearted fan too. Great aroma, lots of foam and carbonation, followed by more aroma and great taste.Ending with more bitter-nicely balanced i might add. Will highly recommend this beer, another winner from a great brewery.

I seem to be running into these IPAs that make Redhook look like Stone. Well anyway this poured a copper color with a white head. The flavor was only slightly bitter with some citrus present. Pardon the generic rating but I lost interest in this turd quickly and was more focused on ESPN. Shame on you North Coast!

New to east Tennessee - the North Coast beers. This one pours a clear light amber with a big frothy white head and very nice Belgian lacing throughout drinking. Sweet apricot and peach hops fragrance with a sweet malt base. Taste is slightly sweet peachy hops with some sweet malts in the background. Simple, enjoyable, effective, different, nice.

A crystalline golden-orange tinted ale. Big frothy white head. Some hang time. Some soapy film left on the side of my glass. A faint ringlet around the top. Weak in the aroma. Some citrusy hops. Not dominate, though at all. Moderate to full bodied. Smooth on the palate. There’s more hops in the flavoring than in the nose. Makes this a real thirst quencher. And finishes the rating on the upside.

Among the very best IPAs available - bar none. Smooth, with just the right blend of hoppiness and maltiness. Not too bitter. Slight head - greta lacing.

12 fl. oz. bottle, at Olympen, Oslo. ABV is 6.5%. Deep golden colour with "cooling fog", moderate creamy head. Distinct aroma of American hops, also notes of toffee. Distinctly hoppy flavour too. Hints of Scotch orange marmalade and alcohol.

I don't know if this heat is getting to me or not, but I was thankful I had a bottle of this in the fridge. I had finished doing some yardwork, sweating like a friggin' pig and man this was nice. Aroma is mildly hoppy, citrusy, and a smidge of pine. Not really as assertive as I like my IPA's to be, but still good nonetheless. Flavors carry a nice balance of hop-to-malt flavor with citrus and caramel supporting each other very nicely. Nothing over the top, nothing underwhelming, just a really nice beer at a really important time...I was freakin' thirsty. In fairness, it didn't last very long in my glass. I think it was gone in about 30 seconds.

Nice bottle. This beer is a good combination of very nice smooth hoppy flavours combined with a nice malty sweetness. It pours an oarange gold with a thin white head. The citrusy hops are the first thing to greet the nose and tongue. A beer I enjoyed a great deal.
