Agreed that this seems to more closely mimick the english pales than the typical american pale. bready and caramel malt forward, with some dry, fairly bitter piney hops. ok.

Sampled on 8/20/2010. This American Pale Ale pours a slightly hazy copper amber color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, sweet and a touch floral. Medium bodied Pale Ale. The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are floral and herbal, Nice carbonation. Decent balance. A touch more of an English style Pale Ale, much more malt flavor than hops. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is smooth and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
