Hops, hops and more hops, combine with enough malt to make this a very balanced 8.8% beer. Floral and smooth, dry hopped for aroma, an outstanding Double IPA.

A bright dark orange colored beer with a big frothy textured off white head rising above. There's good hang time on that head. A moderate ringlet is left. Most amazed with the creamy texture of this been. All citric hoppiness in total profile, but an imperial. Very drinkable.

12 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange copper with a medium creamy off white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet bready malts with some floral piney hops.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with big piney, resiny, tarry hops with a harsh bitterness in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a big bitter hop bomb. I remember it being less harsh and more fruity on tap. -

Tons of Ninkasi offerings just showed up in Kamloops, bought one of each, but two of this. Beautifully and slightly brutally bitter. Orange with some syrupy pineapple and caramel. Hops are prevalent on the nose, but the bitterness is a bit latent, and encourages much salivation. Well received, would drink this lots.

Bottle from my Portland trip. Copper orange pour with a medium white head, nice lacing, some carbonation. Big orange, pineapple, grapefruit citrus aromas and taste upfront, nice malt offset, big mouthfeel - almost resiny - with a nice fruity bitter linger. Nice and big and bitter enough.

From Haggen (Burlington, WA). Clear orange body under an off-white head of moderate size. Powerful aroma, lots of piney resins, hops, and a hint of grapefruit. Mouthfeel was well above average: solid and smooth. Flavour was much like the aroma, lots of hops and pine. A really good DIPA.

Pacific Northwest hops stand out against a hearty malt body. Biscuits and some caramel. Lots of sticky pine and fresh citrus. Medium bodied with a good bitterness. Sent from Stoutlover in a prior trade.

this was a bot too mellow for an imperial, or even a regular ipa. in a head to head it suffered. may have been old, but there's no date, so the brewer would be to blame there. fairly aromatic hops, but just a little sweet and bitter flavor, with a too thin body. not impressed, and i've had pretty good luck with them so far.

Stout, you hit a homerun with this one - many thanks! Pours a deep orange with a slight haze and a moderate head. laces in rings to the very end. Intensely aromatic with pine and citrus, but not too in-your-face. Rich and smooth to the pallette with a crisp bitterness at the end. Flavor is grapefruit with just a touch of sweet - just right. very nice DIPA.

Has the look of a great IPA, orange gold color, very clear and a nice frothy white head. Smell is sweet and citrus fruits, makes a great combo. The mouthfeel is full, definitely a double IPA. Flavor is citrus and pine with a little sweetness, like caramel or honey. This is a very good beer, easy to drink and it really doesn't seem heavy at all.

Fantastic IIPA from Ninkasi and totally suprising. Aroma is juicy orange/grapefruity/honey that was really nice. Flavor had some sweetness to it that helped turn the hops into some tropical fruit flavors. Wet/fresh hop flavor, sugary, and bready.
