Second organic brew rated this week. This one pours a mildly hazy caramel-orange colour with a medium head that is thick and leaves a nice coating on the top of the brew. It does look like a craft beer. Malty nose with some caramel and hop aromas. Medium-full body with a mild caramel taste mixed-in with the hop. Not too sweet and not too bitter though. Tastes different from most organic beer (as it does not have that organic feel I do not like). Just tastes differently overall, but not bad at all.

Pours a hazy copper/gold with a nice medium sized frothy off-white head. Looks good. Leaves small waves of lacing after each sip. Malty aroma, Some sweetness. Starts malty finishes with a decent bitterness. Watery mouthfeel with medium carbonation. nothing special.

I tried this beer on August 6, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent golden red with a creamy white head. The aroma was bready malts, some yeast, and hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with ample carbonation. The flavour was malty up front with a bitter finish. -

Bottle: Poured a clear light amber color ale with a large frothy head with good retention but minimal lacing. Aroma of crisp hops with some lightly sweet malt. Taste is also interesting with some grassy hops and nice malt balance. Vegetable finish is bit weird but not too strong to mess this beer. Body si quite full with good carbonation. Well done.

This is not that good of a beer. The beer pours a clear dark golden col,our with a frothy white head. The aroma is weakly grassy and the taste is strongly metallic. I tried this twice several months apart at different bars in different cities with the same result.

Sampled at the K-W beerfest. Apparently they have been making this Organic beer for a while for draft accounts. Cant tell if this is their regular lager recipe with all organic malts...seems that way. Tapped a clear deep shimmering gold, tight, sticky 2 finger white cap lasts well and laces the glass. Aroma" some graininess but mostly sweet malt..bready, with light grassy tones. Decent malt delivery up front firm biscuity malts are balanced with some spicey herbal hopping..clean finish, biscuit aftertaste. Fairly 2 dimensional lager but with bright malt and hop flavor good balance and drinkability.
