Niagara's Best Daredevil Red Ale is a tribute to the many daredevils who have challenged the mighty Falls in barrels, tightropes, boats and even jumping. Our Red Ale has a deep copper red colour created by our special mixture of 4 different malts. Its flavour is light and malty with a mild hop twist. This Daredevil satisfies every time!

On tap and from growler: Pours a hazed copper-red ale in the glass with a decent tight-pored tan cap....moderate retention, fair glass lacing qualities. Aroma is mild and understated but there id definitely caramel with some toastyness over leafy herbaceous hops. Toasty-caramel malting carries into the flavour profile in the front side, instantly balanced by some resinous-piney hops, goes a bit sweet in the middle with light fruity notes, clean drying toasty finish turns a tad bitter. Definately a decent session brewpub red but needs more unique character to define it. The way it is it reminds me of 2 other east coast brew pubs red ales I had had. Get the definition and this one is a winner

Tap at brewpub: Poured a copper color ale with a light foamy head with average retention. Taste of fresh caramel malt with some discernable hops as well. Taste is very refreshing with great notes of caramel malt with some well balanced sweetness and a dry lighter bitter and floral hoppy finish. Body is full with good carbonation. Not overly complex but very well made for the style and freshness probably helps this one scoring slightly higher marks.
