Pure and crisp this is a beer with nothing to hide. Wisconsin two-row barley malt ensures a mellow and smooth body. We imported Noble Hop varieties from Germany and the Czech Republic to ensure a fine mature aroma with no coarse bitterness. Expect this beer to pour a delicate golden hue that sparkles in the summer sun. This lager is brewed using all natural ingredients with no artificial additives of any kind. Kick back, relax and enjoy the simple unadorned flavor. This is beer at its most basic.

Pours clear golden with a thin ivory head. Aroma yields crisp malt and a bit of apple. Flavor presents crisp malt and alittle sweet apple. Texture has fair fizz and body. Should make a good gateway beer for megabrew loyalists.

Actually intrigued to try this .. . Pours a deep yellow .. medium head, better than medium lacing .. . grain, crisp hay, and sweet wheat .. . good crisp mouthfeel .. . an awesome lager! .. . . Why were the Indians here first? They had reservations.

It pours a pale yellow with a thin white head and fairly copious lacing. An aroma of barley maltsa, light hops, lemon and citrus, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, thic, and rich. Flavors of wheat malts, light hops, lemon and citrus, and light spiciness. Very smooth and flavorful.

Aroma is gentle and sweet, pours a little mellow golden color with a lot of bubbles. White creamy head. It's fresh tasting, very pure and crisp. Makes an awesome summertime session.

Well, trying this one in the dead of winter probably wasn't fair, but no matter what month it is I don't imagine it having any more flavor than it does right now. This takes a the lager style to a new low in so many ways it's difficult to keep up: Color is weak yellow. No carbonation to speak of. No head. Watery blah mouthfeel. Tastes like colored water. Totally Naked must be an attempt to brew devoid of any actual beer qualities. I haven't poured one out in a long time, but life is too short for this boutique swill.

On a hot summer's day, after mowing the lawn this to me, is the beer to have. In a clean frosted it pours to a crisp golden yellow, very clear. Foamy head stays longer then expected. This beer lacks bold flavor but when it is hot out it refreshes instantly. It finishes clean with very little after taste. My favorite on those sticky warm days.

Bottle from biggcb. Yellow-gold with a short-lived white head. The aroma shows grass, hay and a little saaz. Flavor is unexciting but not bad. Some very mild bitter hops, grassy, bready, and some grainy cereal (insert your swill preference). Fairly crisp and refreshing enough I guess and while better than the domestic stuff at your grocery store, probably not a lot better. Even though it has ’New Glarus’ on the label keep your expectations low for this one.

Poured a crystal clear yellow with a nice bubbly white head. Very good lacing as well giving this pale lager a wonderful appearance. Not a very complex aroma, maybe some yeast and grain. To me this beer's strong suite was it's flavor. Really smooth malts make this a fantastic beverage. Don't worry tvail4, I will be picking up more of these the next time I am in the cheese state.

Thanks to pfoxyjohn for this one. Pours a clear yellow with a medium white head. After trying a few other New Glarus products from pfoxyjohn, I find this one to be a bit on the bland side. The taste is good, there just isn't much to it. Not a bad beer, just not one that I would buy regularly.

This is one of the several beers I picked up when visiting the New Glarus Brewing Company on my "Boozin Across Wisconsin Tour 2008". I purchased it in the store after I took a tour of the facilities.
I picked up a bottle of this Totally Naked only because it was available in a single and I wanted to be able to taste it and review it here. This one falls short in my book though when compared to the other very flavorful New Glarus products.
The beer has a watery, clear, golden color to it with a minimal white head that quickly evaporates. The aroma is that of a standard American lager, nothing really too special. Grains and grass is all I can pick up.
The beer drinks fairly smooth, but almost too watery for my liking. The taste is clean, but again, very average and really lacking any of the great flavors that you find with the rest of the New Glarus products.
I'm assuming that this was created for those who like that American lager style of beer. Not sure why you would spend the money on that though when there are other products out there at a much cheaper price.
