An imperial amber in a bomber. fuller (but not really better) feel from the jacked up abv. bitter citric hops and sweet malt seem a bit confused and muddled. Not sure where this brewer is going. When they were new, the beers were too slick. Now they seem unfocused, muddled, directionless. Eh. Not worth a bomber.

Nice find @Farragut Wine and Spirits (where me nephew now works- discounts!) - Nice light hazy copper pour, tight bubbled cream colored head, nice lacing. Sweet malty aroma upfront then plenty of hops, earthy, some pine, then some fruits and more malts. Flavor is hoppier than the 35 IBUs that are advertised - nice balance of sweet and hops, malty for certain, and a nice earthy hops bitter linger.

pours a copper color with a light khaki tan head forming a nice thick head, with layers of lacing. The aroma has a nice grain filled character hints of ripened fruit and caramel, with light earthy hops. The tastes is smooth roasted malts with caramel and fruit filled bounty. The mouthfeel is smooth carbonation medium bodied ale with a well hidden 7.2% alcohol by volume.

Pours a semi-transparent, appetizing mahogany-brown; there was not much head, but this was an artifact of the pour. Malty aroma has notes of cloves and wood plus a hint of apple. Strong, malty flavor has a firm fruity tone that is mainly apple and pear with a hint of banana, as well as touches of cloves and hops. Smooth, robust-bodied texture is fairly fizzy and leaves a malty, woody finish.

This poured a dark copper color with a beige head. The aroma is faint with some dark fruit and caramel. The flavor is a bit odd with some cooked veggies, caramel, and citrus. Overall like mixing a shot vodka in a standard issue amber ale. Overall ok but careful IT’LL GET YA DRUNK!

A deep mahogany colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head rising above. There's some hang time, settling into a thin ringlet. Bready nose. Bread, light citric hops and bolder nuttiness are in the tasting. A medium body. I liked this one.

Pours clear light amber with a huge head - laces well. Very grain-like aroma gives way to an artificial sweet-sticky sensation on the pallette that never subsides. Sweet malt flavor was flat and uninteresting.

Sparkling light amber with a big fluffy head and moderate lacing, appearance is the best aspect of this beer. Faint crystal malt aroma, paper and stale neutral hops. Sticky sweet, light bodied and awkward. Flavor tastes of sweet adjuncts and plain malt. Finished empty with a very mild bitterness. Nothing too redeeming here.

Sampled 9/18/2009. This amber ale pours a reddish amber color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel malt, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied amber. The malts are caramel and semi-sweet. The hops are floral and earthy. Nice balance. Decent carbonation. This beer is mostly an amber ale with a couple of exceptions, it’s not as sweet and it’s was more hoppy. Nice clean beer with a nice dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter
