The beer pours a translucent red with a 1" tan coloured head that laces well. The aroma was caramel, nuts, and grains. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was caramel, slightly sweet, with some metallic notes. Overall, not a bad beer.

Tried on my first visit to Moxie's, right before seeing Tron 3D at the theatre. Pours a clean amber colour with a shot lasting head, but good lacing and a 1mm coat over the brew. The smell is of grainy malt, and after breathing a bit, honey comes out of it. Nice grainy taste with very mild caramel. Smooth mouthfeel and quite refreshing. Does what it has to do: Please a mass market, but still a notch better over mass beers.

Went out to dinner at Moxie's in Calgary on Friday night for dinner. Brewed by Big Rock for the Moxie's restaraunt chain. Clear amber/caramel color, arrived with a thick head of white foam. Head slowed shrank but left thin lace down the glass. Smell had some yeast (like the Euro), and some caramel malt. Taste is a bit fuller, roasted caramel malt, slightly fruity sweetness. Body and mouthfell about average. Slightly more flavorful and a small step up from their Euro.

I was at Moxies last night and I asked for a Sleemans Honey Brown and buddy love the waiter said they don't carry sleemans but they have a house beer that is identical. He was a liar. Just when I thought I couldn't get any more upset my bill came and the damn beer was $6.00 CDN... I think that's like $9.00 USD

Wow, this beer was a waste. Amazing that their PIls is incredible but this beer is nothing more that a watered-down Smithwicks clone. The mouthfeel is watery, but it does fill the back of the mouth. This beer is neither nor there. It's not offensive, just average.
