The second beer released from Mountain Goat’s Richmond microbrewery is an Australian style, full strength Pale Ale. It has golden–straw colourings, floral honey aromas and spicy hop bitterness. An imported American Ale yeast imparts a soft, dry fruitiness. Unlike the Hightail Ale, this beer is best enjoyed ice cold. Drink the Pale with spicy dishes, they release the grassy hop characters and highlight the clean malt finish.

The beer pours out a hazy golden yellow body, pillowy white airy head. Aroma comes out somehow with a wheat/citrusy aroma. Flavor has a fruity/melon note to it, light sweetness and barely any noticeable hop character. Decent while cold, but kinda blech when it warmed up a tad.
