Crest ice S5L2F3T4O9: What a cool name, sets the imagination off. Two big cans poured into a shapely 22 oz beer glass, just the right curve. Full-size pale yellow lager looks with streaming bubbles sparkling. Thin fair head. Initial taste is not as strong as I expected for a cheap ice beer. 55 cents per 12 oz can. The taste is fairly clear; more clear in experience compared to melanin’s Milwaukee water. Very fine carbonation. 6.2%? , hmmmm. Does a good job of hiding the alky, seems more like a regular Molson lager, you know with that clean barren stripping feel. Maintains a lasting fizzy carbonation on the palate. Probably one of the more tolerable cheap ice beers. Even nears the end, does not yet become nasty. Unobjectionable and reasonable. Towards the bottom of the glass the aroma becomes a little volatile. On the finish some sterilized alky peeks thru at times but is still lighter than many malt liquors and ice beers.

I can't believe I payed two bux for this crap... not that I thought it was going to be godlike. Of course it turned out to be more cockroachlike. I shamed my glass by subjecting it this this so-called liquid. Clear gold with little head and no retention... but oh! it has very large attractive bubbles... Near zero aroma but what is there is sweet and grainy. The taste is equally bad with almost no taste but its corn and sweetness survives temporarily before I pour it back into the can and attempt to flush the actual can down the toilet. Cheers.

Just another ice brew here and I must say it is more like a weak malt liquor. Aroma is very sweet and synthetic with some gas as well as kerosene and is very rubing alcohol-like. Appearance is a straw golden in color and very light with a very soapy and fuzzy head on top that dissappears quickly leaving no lacing. Mouthfeel is dry to some extent with no complexity or balance with just alcohol coming through. Flavor is of sweet malt and very synthetic and very adjunct ridden and not good at all with an aftertaste that is just sweet corn and metal. Overall, yet another malt liquor that tastes like kerosene and is very alcoholic and grainy; drink this brew almost frozen!!!

Another creation from the gang at Minhas Creek. This beer is ridonkulously bad and should be tried only after finishing at least 6 lucky lagers and moving on to the 6% tundra ice. A typical beer you will find people shotgunning or bonging because of the low price and higher alcohol content. I agree with alcoholic, pick up a Black Label Charger before you attempt one of these bad boys.

Terrible. Do not ever buy this unless it is the last day you will ever live and there isn't any other beer within 1000 miles. This is worse than any malt liquor you can think of.

Not a huge fan of this beer however is a very cheap 6 pack, around $7 in manitoba, makes for a good night if you aren't willing to go out and empty your wallet. Can definately taste the alcohol in this one with a watery flavor.

Gold color, fizzy head that quickly disappears to nothing. Almost no aroma, maybe wet straw or grain, kind of sweet smell. First taste is sour on the tongue. Watery and thin, no body, and an alcohol after taste that kind of burns going down. Should have known better : High alcohol % plus low cost equals no good.
