Pours a very tempting dark chocolate brown with a thick and fluffy light tan head that leaves some nice lacing. Hearty aroma has chocolate, hoppy, nutty, coffee and woody notes. Scrumptious flavor delights with chocolate, hoppy, nutty, roast malt, coffee, and subtle earthy and caramel tones. It is a little sweet but not too much so. Smooth, firm texture has a nice fizz and leaves a smoky, hoppy finish. A worthy beer, so look for it.

A really nice representation of a black ipa. Full flavored and aromatic. roasted malt and a little nutiness, chococlate, and significant pine and citrus in both the aroma and flavor. Pretty smooth, medium bodied. Pricey, but well done!
