pours a coppery gold color with great clarity and a small white head that lasted nicely with light lacing. The aroma consisted of honey qwith floral hops, malt, and caramel, not overpowering. It's pleasant and unique. The taste of honey is very prominent, sweet, with a lot of hop bitterness and surprisingly strong honey/caramel aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to heavy with light carbonation.

A deep copper colored body, the head was thin and fizzy. Aromas and flavors of honey, slightly sweet malts, and grain. Overall it's ok for what it is, no surprises here.

another drinkable entry from Michelob. aroma and flavor of honey and cereal, with a slightly bitter finish. no skunk, but pretty light in flavor, and the "body" is a joke.

My vacation swill - pours a light yellow with a smallish head and some lacing. Good carbonation. Sweet aromas of wet wheat, Capn Crunch cereal, a bit of honey, and malts. Taste is slightly sweet with a decent malty base and nice finish. Good on a hot summer day by the lake...

Poured into a pint glass from a 12 oz. bottle. The appearance is a nice golden colour. A white head quickly recedes into a film and leaves decent lacing. So far so good. However, it smells much like traditional Michelob (much wheat) with just a hint of honey. The taste brings out more of the honey, but it doesn't mesh well with the rest of the beer. It's almost as if they just added honey to already-brewed Michelob. Mouthfeel is also similar to Michelob--light, watery and high in carbonation. Drinkability is very low. Half a bottle is more than enough for me. I don't know whether the target consumers drink Michelob or if they are craft beer drinkers looking for something cheaper than their usual buys. Whoever they are, Michelob probably won't get them.

Honey lager S4L2F3T408: Smells like mild sweetness and perhaps some floral olfactory. Has an odd initial honey bitterness to it, malty yet sweet-ish. Very nice carbonation. Not bad half way thru this brown 12 oz bottle with a twist off cap. Weird after taste on the finish, not quite syrupy.

Of Michelob's new (or re-released) line of "craft" brews, this one is my least favorite. Pretty much just a standard macro lager with a touch of sweetness added.

At first taste seems very biter but the aftertaste is of sweet honey. Not impressed with aroma or appearance but the aftertaste made up for that. An okay beer overall.

A clear yellowish bodied beer. The body of the beer is thin. The head is small with little retention time, disappearing without any lacing. The aroma is of grains and the slightest hint of honey. So too is the taste with a added hint of floral hops and an aftertaste that leaves me thinking....this is crap.
