Part of a gift set I received but sat on for 2 years before opening. The best thing about this beer is the goofy looking rocket shaped bottle. Upon opening, everything goes downhill in a hurry. This is not "cherry" beer--it is cherry cough syrup. Simply dreadful.

A dark reddish appearance with a white head. The aroma is cherry flavored cough syrup. The flavor is like a true fruit lambic. Um NOT! A very medicine like flavor with cherry syrup and a hint of molasses. Bottom line this is like Robitussin not beer. Worse than SA Cherry Wheat. Avoid!!!!

I bought this as part of a gift set, however the two glasses were the only highlights. The cherry lager poured a lovely reddish brown color with a minimal white head that quickly fades. The aroma was strong, full of sweet cherry cordials and roasted malts. The aroma was this beers best attribute. The flavor is dominated by a fake syrupy cherry that covers up the malts and hops. The finish was long with some bitter notes at the end. The palate was medium to full with a sticky texture. Overall I was looking forward to something much better. Well at least I got two nice glasses in the gift set.

I had read some good reviews of these 2 celebrate brews. So when I saw a gift pack of both bottles and 2 nice glasses for $8, I thought I'd try it. After my experience with the Celebrate Chocolate, I knew I better chill this. Pours a deep red brown color. Is this still the Chocolate? Its almost the exact color. No, its the Cherry. Very small fizzy head, no lacing at all. Aroma of sweet malts, cherry and alcohol. Mouth feel is thin. Faintly chocolate and cherry. Alcohol taste is strong. At least I have a nice glass.

This fruit beer pours a deep red color from a 24oz screw top bottle. Medium to small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malts and cherry. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, lots of cherry and chocolate. The hops are mild and a touch earthy. It’s a little overly sweet and artificial tasting, but its not really all that bad. Yes he is giving praise to an AB product. It’s a little weird that its seems more chocolate than cheery, but it somehow works. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
