A collaboration on a global scale ! Unite was the brainchild of one of the Project Venus crew in the UK, who came up with an idea of a global collaboration brew to celebrate International Women's Day. A base recipe was decided - 4.0 % pale ale with Cascade hop focus - and 72 breweries around the world let loose with their own interpretation. At Metalman, we added some Simcoe to the party and this delightful suppable beer came in with just the right balance of lemon, apricots and a gentle bitterness with a nice light malt body. This was an exclusive for IWCB in 2014, but who knows, it might make a reappearance next year !
