It pours a light-amber/burnt-orange with thin white head and some lace. A sweet aroma of caramel malts, light hops, orange/citrus, some raisin, and mildly spicy. The mouthfeel is smooth, full-bodied, and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, citrus, bread/yeast, nuts, tea, and spiciness. Excellent!!

Received for Christmas in a box of "Winter Brews" from World Market. Pours a golden, copper color with a small and quickly dissipating head. Has citrus, hoppy aroma. Very light and dry, almost tastes like ice tea with lemon. It might be a decent summer beer....

same qualities (ingredients) as the ale, just a touch better from the switch in fermentation method. still not impressive. underwhelming beer. average at best.

I did like this beer and Will try it again one day. Of red color with very little head. Had a a b it of foot smell to it, oh well, Great Mouthfeel a bit thicker than most lagers I have had. Flavor was above average for this style.

Pours a light brown color topped with a thin head. Darker color than I was expecting. Fruity malt aroma with a malty flavor with caramel and some spices and a touch of hops mixed in. Bland, watery finish, almost non existant aftertaste leaves me wanting a bit more. Pretty boring beer but drinkable.

This lager is what an American lager should be like. Great presentation with amber body and light head. The aroma citrus like hops to the nose. And the balance of sweet malt with bitter/bouget hops is perfect making an easy, crisp palate.

I have had much experience with this brewer and have had numerous different brews and all seem pretty solid and I recently was at a packy in Fairburn, GA and saw this sixer of the lager that I had not ever seen before so I picked it up to try it. Aroma is very malty and of freshly baked bread with some slight hop aroma but sweet malt dominates. Appearance is a deep golden color, almost bronze, with a full head on top that is white in color and creamy and becomes light lacing. Mouthfeel is is clean and very crisp with good malty complexity with hop balance that peeks its head with a palate that is crisp, clean, and sharp and coats the palate well. Flavor is of malty goodness with some sweetness upfront with an aftertaste that is of musty hop and bitterness with a finish that is clean and crisp with some citrusy overtones and is very good. Overall, another solid brew here and very drinkable and tasty; also, this sample seems fresh which helps a lot.

Sampled from bottle. Pours light amber with a thin white head. Its aroma is bready malts. Balanced flavor, largely dominated by toasted malt. A bit nutty. Enjoyable, but not all that complex.

Pours a clear orange colour with a small white head. Scattered sticky lacing on the glass. lightly malted, with a semi sweet citrusy finish. Aroma smells like freshly rained on woodchips. kind of woodsy actually.

Nice aroma and pours very nice with a light amber color. The flavor however pales in comparison to the Red Tale Ale. Very weak and leaves a unpleasant aftertaste.
