In the days before lager, Pale Ale was the original reassuringly expensive tipple. Drinking it set you apart from the Bitter crowd. Our Pale Ale is more than special. English Goldings, American Cascade & Cluster hops provide the bitterness, whilst our unique dry hopping technique with bucketfuls of Cascade & Willamette hops gives it a tantalising aroma.

Clear golden yellow with small lacing foam head. Aroma is hoppy with citrus notes. Taste stars of as little sweet pilsener, turning mor bitter over time. Aftertaste is nice bitter. (London 201305)

Pours out in a clear orange-copper colour with a rich and dense off-white foam. Grass, flowers and straw in the aroma with touches of mild resin and metal. Medium to light-bodied with fairly strong hop notes of orange-peels, flowers and grass with grainy and metallic undertones. Dryish medium-bitter finish of grass, resin, nectarines and orange-peels. Quite nice and much better and well-rounded with the yeast.

Bottled. Amber colour, huge fluffy white head. Aroma is hops, some spices, grass and some notes of cooked vegetables. Flavour is fruity hops, grass, quite much vegetables and earth.

Bottle. Hazy gold colour with a slim white head. Hoppy and lightly fruity aroma. Dry hoppy taste with some grapefruit and a bitter finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. I think it needs more hops but I quite like it anyway.
