This bottle of Pullman's Porter is hand-made from choice domestic barley malt and fresh whole-flower hops. This rich, dark, hoppy brew is made in the style enjoyed by porters in Nineteenth century England.

Pours a dark mahogany brown with a one finger head that seems to not loose any mass. Light shows through it and reveals a heavily carbonated brew. Aroma reminds me of a heavy lager with hints of grains and a soapy scent. Almost a rhubarb bitter scent to it as well. Good amount of lacing on the glass. Taste is very bitter, not unlike an IPA. Very hop heavy and reminds me of a darker Surly Furious. The downside is that it definitely does not taste like a porter, almost like they took an IPA and added food coloring. Aftertaste finally hits with a very light coffee like bitterness on the tongue. Not a bad brew though.

Dark brown with twinges of ruby. Aroma of bitter coffee and chocolate. Taste is hoppy for sure with flavors of rich chocolate, roasted malt, ainse and espresso. Real nice, hoppy porter. Thanks Doug.

Poured a dark brownish red color with a small tan head and light lacing on the glass. Chocolate roasted aroma. Taste began with chocolate and coffee, and finished with a light fruity note and some hop bitterness.
