An extra strength version of our American-style Wheat Beer. “Hefe” means yeast, as this brew is unfiltered, which lends this beer a richer flavor, as well as lots of B-vitamins. “Doppel Weizen” is German for “Double Wheat”. Brewed with 2/3 Wheat Malt and 1/3 Barley Malt and hopped with Chinook and East Kent Goldings hops. Refreshing and easy drinking but deceptively strong. (7.0% alcohol by volume).

a bit yeasty, but fairly good, drinkable beer. Nothing special (i like their 'bigger" beers better, but it was enjoyable enough. slightly spiced, heavier wheat flavor than expected.

A very interesting beer. Somethings that I really like and some that i dont care for. The pour was very nice til there was an excessive amount of white yeast coming through. I typically like yeasty beers but the pour was frighteningly high in it. On the other hand, its a nice cloudy light brown. Mouthfeel is very smooth and enjoyable. Flavor is excellent with the strong bock taste and the weizen crisp. The yeast was very thick on the bottom of the glass. I strongly recommend even though it had much more yeast than expected.

Poured a hazy, yellow orange color with a medium sized, white head that left very light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, light banana, and some spices. Taste was wheaty, light citrus, grainy with low sweetness, and a light, dry bitterness. Soft mouthfeel.

Murky amber pour with a whipped white head. Not a lot of hops here. To tell the truth this is a middle of the road beer. Nothing wrong but nothing outstanding. Not bad for an 80 degree day in January standing over the bbq.
