Pours very dark brown, indeed almost black in color. Quick head. Just a little foam after a couple of sips. A bit creamy on the roasty malt end. With maybe some earthy hops added to the mix. Roasty malt and mild hop bitter bite upfront. The roast takes on a nice roasted coffee quality. But the palate lacks body and gets watery from the middle to the finish. Easy to drink and enjoy.

sixer from Specs .. holy shit, this stuff is actually good! .. . pours a deep brown .. medium lacing with a great big bubbled head .. . roasty tar and slick bitter oil, light mouthfeel .. . fantastic black ipa .. . . should i have this much blood in my pocket?
